Multi Media Installation:

1x Lightbox (Triangle: 160 x 160 x 160cm)
1x Timer Switch (2 separate circuits) 2x Speaker
Molton

Designed for public spaces, the multi-media installation runs as a static exhibition (triangular photo print, lightbox).
Once an hour, the light of the photo box goes off and both paneels turn on at the same time. A five-minute light show is accompanied by a soundtrack. After the time has elapsed, the paneels go back to sleep and the light in the lightbox is turned on again.

In terms of content, the work deals with different forms of perception of time: the rapid passing, the short-lived nature of media consumption and the transience of the moment. Accompanied by soundtracks, the ticking and striking of clocks, the medium of light acts as a concentrated pole for generating attention. A flood of visual impressions is created in short sequences that pass by almost too quickly. In contrast to this, the resting phases of the work seem almost unbearable, leaving only the silent presence of the light box, the static print. The images seem to have fallen out of time, the faces are frozen into human pendulum clocks.
